Notes / Ideas
#

  • Neurogaunts are cheap synapse-range extension for the Neurotyrant — solid include at almost any points level.
  • Termagants → wishlist Hormagaunts is the troop/swarm core; a Tervigon (wishlist) would keep Termagants topped up if the collection grows that way.
  • Broodlord currently has no Genestealer unit sized to actually attach to in a clean list — worth planning which Genestealers split (5s or 10s) pairs with it.
  • Neurotyrant or wishlist Hive Tyrant as the single big synapse/psychic piece — likely not both at this collection’s size, same logic Tzeentch used for its big single-caster choice.
  • Von Ryan’s Leapers are the fast ambush element; Lictor plays a similar infiltrate/objective role solo.
  • Screamer-Killer is still its own named, separately-priced loadout (125p/135p) on the Carnifexes datasheet — pricier than the plain Carnifex loadout (90p/180p) it shares a datasheet with.
  • Winged Tyranid Prime is a cheap (65p) Leader for Tyranid Warriors — worth attaching once a Warriors squad size is settled.

Army Ideas by Points Level

Starting sketches, not locked lists yet — ported from an earlier working tracker and recalculated against the official Munitorum Field Manual v1.2 points. Not yet built or checked in NewRecruit, unlike the verified brackets on the Tzeentch project.

500p — Small Swarm / Synapse Core
#

Total: 340p — well under 500p with the currently-owned models; there’s room to add Von Ryan’s Leapers or a second Termagants squad before hitting the cap.

1000p — Balanced Swarm + Monster
#

Total: 855p — leaves headroom under 1000p.

1250p — Synapse + Swarm + Monsters
#

Total: 990p — headroom remains; a Genestealers unit would be the natural next add, since Broodlord needs something to lead.

2000p — Full Force
#

Total: 1,485p — a real gap under 2000p, bigger than the other brackets; this sketch needs more units (owned or wishlist) before it’s a real Strike Force list.
