Tzeentch
Overview#
A small Tzeentch daemon horde that works either as allies for a Thousand Sons army or as a stand-alone force.
The focus is on models that reward the airbrush — fast, vivid results with minimal brushwork. Brimstone Horrors get a yellow-to-red flame gradient, Screamers a chaotic green-to-purple warp skin, all on dark ancient stone bases.
Progress#
Tested 3D printed proxies — airbrushed and experimented with a few different basing schemes. Paint recipes are locked in and the airbrush workflow is proven. Looking to find old sculpts as STLs to print going forward.
I didn’t want to have the effects sculpted on the miniatures so I removed the flames underneath the changeling and went with some alternative sculpts for flamers & exalted flamers (more akin to old epic models).
And also since it is a pure daemon force they are playable in both AoS and 40k so when picking out the force I did try and make up some lists to aim for in addition to printing and painting what looked cool ofc.
